Lozenetz village is situated on the southeastern Bulgarian seacoast, close to the border with Turkey, about 60 km south of Bourgas (the second largest Bulgarian city on the Black Sea coast) with the seaside village of Kiten neighboring to the north ( 5 km) and Tzarevo town-resort - to the south ( 6 km). Lozenets has a long and beautiful beach, while two nearby fully equipped campsites to the north and to the south and small inlets around Lozenets offer their own excellent beaches as well. Lozenetz has just about 250 local families as similarly to other towns and villages along the coast, more and more houses and land plots are being bought out by well-off Bulgarians (mostly from the capital city of Sofia) and foreigners for holiday villas. Lozenets is a family oriented and almost exclusively Bulgarian resort with hotels and lodging in private homes.
