Obzor is a holiday town, situated between Burgas and Varna on the main road E87 and it stays pretty much at the same distance from the two cities.
It has been populated since a very long time and first had the name of Navlohos and later on – Heliopolis (The town of the sun). Remains from the ancient buildings can be seen even today in the center of the town.
Obzor is a holiday place buried in greenery, coziness and calmness. The sea water is clean and fresh and the beach strip is almost 7 km. long – one of the longest in the Bulgarian coast. The beach features possibilities for sunbathing, diving, fishing.
This is a favorite place for those tourists, preferring romantic and quiet resorts away from the noise of the big holiday complexes.
It is very easy to get in Obzor as it is on the main road between Burgas and Varna. You can find a big variety of hotels, offering great service and restaurants with fine cuisine.
