Ravda is located around 5km. south from Slanchev Briag (Sunny Beach), 3km. from Nessebar and about 25km. north of Burgas. The village is one km. away towards the sea from the main road, connecting Burgas and Varna. In the close past – about 15 years ago Ravda was offering limited possibilities for its guests and was a center of the Bulgarian youth tourism. There were a lot of state holiday houses and bungalow camp sites, belonging to different schools, universities and enterprises.
Today the resort has changed its image fundamentally and keeps developing really fast. The infrastructure is ameliorated. A lot of new cozy family hotels are built, providing good service, many rooms, guest houses are featured also.
The central beach is pretty good with long strip, but not very wide and covered with golden sand.
There is another beach on the other side south of the village and it is called “The South Beach”. It is wider than the central with nice sand and warm sea water.
And a third beach is available north-east of the central, which is the biggest and wider than the central it is called “Olympian hopes”.
Ravda is a preferred resort for many young people and young families. A specific image to the whole picture of the holiday village add the different restaurants and bars with lovely cuisine and drinks.
